Moreover, carbs before an intense workout can indirectly help with fat loss - simply by allowing you to work harder, longer, and harder. As a result, you burn more calories per workout than if you could barely move from weakness and hunger.
From a weight loss point of view, the ability to train at full strength is much more important than the additional calorie expenditure due to skipping meals, especially since it is very small.
The same applies to strength training while losing weight. The ability to train hard, intensely always takes precedence over the ability to burn a few extra calories. Moreover, strength training does not consume many calories - during the workout, a person rests in total more than he trains.
The goal of strength training during weight loss is not so much to burn calories as to protect your muscles while on a diet. Spending calories is just a bonus, not a goal.
You will need to refrain from eating and drinking if you are going to:
- General anesthesia. This type of anesthesia turns off the patient's consciousness. You see nothing, hear nothing, feel no pain, your muscles completely relax, and after the operation there are no memories of it. Some types of general anesthesia are given intravenously, sometimes it is a gas that you are given to inhale.
- Regional anesthesia. This type of anesthesia numbs any part of the patient's body, for example, a leg, arm, or lower half of the body. Typically, the numbing agent is given through a catheter or injection.
- Sedation. These are sedatives, after which a person relaxes and can fall asleep. Sedatives are injected into a vein using an injection or catheter.

There are special rules for babies and small children. Most clinics will allow you to breastfeed your baby four hours before surgery. Formula will have to be fed earlier because it stays in the stomach longer. Your doctor or nurse will give you detailed advice.

Low glycemic index foods
The glycemic index is a ranking of carbohydrates that shows how much a certain food raises blood glucose levels in the body. Low glycemic index foods leave you feeling fuller longer, making you less likely to eat late at night. A sudden increase in blood sugar, often as a result of processed foods and the presence of refined sugar, leads to the release of insulin, which in turn lowers blood sugar to normal levels. This zigzag rise and fall means that famine will come much faster than expected. If you eat foods with a high glycemic index throughout the day, you will definitely want to eat after 6 pm. Preparing a healthy evening meal
If overeating at night is a habit, then it is unlikely that you can give it up overnight. You can help ease the transition by switching from unhealthy late-night snacks to healthier options. For example, cut fruits and vegetables and store them in containers in the refrigerator. This way, they will be easy to grab when you feel like eating in the afternoon. As for junk food, regular potato chips, for example, can be replaced with healthier options. Snacks are made from apple, noria leaves, tea, sweet potato and yeast-free dough, etc. They can sometimes be used as variety and encouragement. Or you can choose a completely different way, like not eating after 6 pm - buying only those products that require mandatory cooking and heat treatment. Firstly, fatigue can sometimes be much stronger than hunger, and a person will not want to stand at the stove. Secondly, while the food is being prepared, a person can mentally tune in and pull himself together and refuse to eat food at such a time.
Installing a temporary filling
Treatment of acute pulpitis, deep caries or other serious pathologies takes place in several stages. At this time, the carious cavity remains open. A temporary filling helps ensure its tightness and protect it from the penetration of bacterial microflora. Depending on the treatment regimen, a temporary filling can be installed for a period from two days to several months, while the medicine placed in the cavity or canal is effective.
