Thai toothpaste - reviews

Advantages:

  • foams a lot
  • cleans well
  • removes plaque

Flaws:

  • inconvenient to use

My mother brought me this pasta from Thailand. As I found out later, she is the most famous there. The paste in such an unusual package immediately interested me and I started testing it that same day in the evening.

It comes with a small plastic spatula, which, in fact, is used to scoop up the product. Of course, at first it was not convenient. Yes, we still have it, we are spoiled by large tubes of soft paste, which we squeeze onto the brush and that’s it. Here you need to put in more effort and time, and also make sure that the product does not fall off the brush))

Thai Herbal Pruksa Siam paste has a solid consistency. Smells very minty. I would even say quite bitter mint. It tastes the same. It even tingles in your mouth when cleaning, but this is not a minus, and I would say it’s a plus. Because it immediately feels like it is cleaning out all the bad things that may be in our mouth. After brushing with this paste, your teeth are smooth and shiny. It doesn't whiten, but it does remove plaque.

Also, I would not recommend using this paste for a long time. You need to take breaks every month. Because after prolonged use, I personally have increased the sensitivity of my enamel. But I think it's individual!

Advantages:

  • cheap
  • harmless
  • foams well
  • economical

Flaws:

  • not effective
  • a little drying
  • strong aftertaste

We were in Thailand and bought this toothpaste with a whitening effect.

When purchasing, our guide said that this was a super-natural Thai herbal toothpaste. To get whitening results, you need to brush your teeth every day for 15 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And she also said that this toothpaste would last for at least 2 years (this was a response to our objection about the small amount of toothpaste)!

The toothpaste itself is hard. We wet the toothbrush with water and move it over the toothpaste, and it foams very well!!!!!

Honestly, at first I tried to brush my teeth for 10-15 minutes. BUT this is a super mockery of the oral cavity, because due to the components that make up the toothpaste, everything in the mouth burns (but does not get hot!) and such nasty sensations arise, a very strong aftertaste. It didn't last me long.

Then she started unsuccessful “whitening” procedures several more times.

But it polishes well))) Well, naturally, if you spend 15 minutes brushing your teeth with a toothbrush)))

I don't consider this a worthwhile purchase. And I'm glad that the pasta is finally over! It was a shame to throw it away, from Thailand after all)))))))

Advantages:

  • cheap
  • economical

Flaws:

  • not effective
  • increased tooth sensitivity

A friend howled in Thailand and brought toothpaste. According to her, everyone there uses it and flashes a white-toothed smile, while drinking a lot of coffee and smoking various unknown pipes. You should use toothpaste once a week, not a large amount, literally the size of a pea. Despite the fact that the paste is very small, it lasts on average for half a year!

Having opened the package, I noticed a smell, not very strong; pastes sold in the market can be stronger. When I tried it for the first time, I didn’t notice any results, only my tongue and the skin on the inside of my lips were a little irritated. A week later I used it a second time and again I didn’t notice anything, just a regular paste. The third time I noticed that my teeth became a little whiter, but there was severe tooth sensitivity! Now I use this paste once every two weeks.

I would like to warn anyone who has problems with tooth sensitivity not to use this paste.

“I tried Thai toothpaste, not in Thailand itself, but after arriving home. Cleans normally, like all regular pastes. But I was attracted by their composition. For example, I bought mine with mangosteen and peppermint, a very interesting and pleasant taste. In general, there are a lot of these pastes, some with mango, guava, and camphor.”

In general, Herbal Prim Perfect paste is not bad; it has a healing and antiseptic effect on the oral cavity. But, as a dentist, I want to warn people using this toothpaste to be careful.

I recommend applying a very small amount of paste to the brush. If you take an amount equal to that of a regular gel paste, then unpleasant consequences may occur, such as a burning sensation of the mucous membrane and thinning of the enamel. Therefore, strictly follow the instructions.

As a dentist with ten years of experience, I can say that Thai toothpastes are not as harmless as they are made out to be. The main element of the composition is ordinary alumina with untreated granules and strong abrasive properties.

Because of this, such pastes can only be used in combination with soft brushes and extremely rarely. Otherwise, increased sensitivity and dull enamel are guaranteed. Also, 100% naturalness raises doubts, because preserving plant components without preservatives is impossible.

Thai toothpastes bring as many benefits as regular ones. I think you yourself understand that dental treatment is the job of dentists. Contact a good doctor - he will remove plaque, lubricate your teeth with a substance that strengthens the enamel, and advise you on how to care for problem teeth. My doctor says that expensive brushes and pastes are a scam.

Better spend the money you save on dental floss and a good elixir.

Advantages:

  • not dear
  • not ordinary
  • feels good

Flaws:

  • doesn't taste very good
  • effectiveness not proven

A few years ago we went on vacation to Thailand. From there I brought various cosmetics, including an unusual toothpaste. It cost 65 baht.

At that time, 1 baht was equal to 1 ruble, that is, the pasta was very inexpensive. As I understand it, now the price tag in rubles would be 2 times more expensive.

At least I understand that you need to brush your teeth with this paste 2 times a day.

Inside is a jar of paste and a stick for applying it. If you just touch the toothpaste with a wet toothbrush, the paste will spoil faster than it runs out.

The paste looks something like this, mine is expired, fresh it is less porous.

The paste tastes quite disgusting, but the teeth feel very clean to the point of squeaking. I used the paste for a while, and then I went to the dentist and they asked me what kind of paste I brush my teeth with, and they told me not to use it, since it doesn’t clean well.

Because in the end, I don’t even know what to say about this pasta.

Advantages:

  • treats
  • economical

Flaws:

  • taste
  • format

Good day to everyone who stopped by!

Today we will talk about Thai toothpaste, which is probably, along with coconut oil, the most popular purchase of tourists from Russia)) My husband and I were no exception and also bought several packages. Most of it was given away, but, of course, they kept it for themselves))

To be honest, I wasn’t particularly excited about using it.

Well, firstly, I love pastes that foam well (I know that this is not very good, that this indicates the presence of lauryl sulfate, etc.), this paste practically does not foam (since the composition is close to natural).

Secondly, I don’t like its format, or rather, the fact that you need to pick it out with something and put it on the brush (it’s easier to squeeze it out of the tube)).

Thirdly, I don’t like herbal flavors in pastes, but this paste has a pronounced taste.

Among the advantages I can note:

  • After using it, my gums began to bleed less
  • Well, it’s economical, it will last for a very long time))

It’s definitely worth trying, and then you’ll see whether you like it or not!

Advantages:

  • Convenient to take with you on the road
  • Refreshes the oral cavity well.

Flaws:

  • There is no whitening effect.

I heard about Thai toothpaste from a friend; her relatives brought it to her as a gift from Thailand. She praised it very much, so as soon as I saw the pasta in an online purchase, I immediately ordered it.

Several types were offered:

  • herbal
  • whitening
  • with propolis.

I decided to try whitening.

I received a 35 gram blue jar, unscrewed the lid, took off the foil and smelled it. The smell reminded me of the well-known balm “Zvezdochka”, the same strong menthol smell. Moreover, both clove oil and camphor are also included here and there.

The paste has a decent shelf life. Under the main sticker there is another one with the composition of the paste)

I started using it as advised on the website: brush with a dry brush and clean with a small amount of paste. They promised a lot of foam on the website in the annotations. As it turned out in practice, it is quite difficult to catch grains of paste on a dry brush, and it does not foam very well!

Eventually:

I came to the conclusion that the paste refreshes the oral cavity well, it also cleans quite well, I did not notice any whitening effect. If you use your tongue after brushing your teeth, you won’t feel any plaque. In principle, I had the same effect from other pastes.

So there is no need to chase new products, use what you are used to!

My mother-in-law brought me toothpaste from Thailand. I was very impressed with how economical it was. I tried it, but I didn’t find anything positive or negative in it - neither any special whitening effect, nor bleeding gums.

Pasta is just like paste in a jar. My husband and I used it together for about 3 months. When it ended, we switched to the usual Splat. If they bring more, we’ll use it, but we won’t specifically ask for it.

Great pasta. This is not the first time I’m writing this out. The gums stopped bleeding, the oral cavity is in excellent condition after 2 weeks. I take a little bit at a time, a little more than a grain of rice.
